Working Through Unprecedented Times

As some of you may know, ArcOne was recently acquired by Walter Surface Technologies, a North American leader in metalworking solutions. ArcOne adds a unique, complementary, and high-quality safety product offering to Walter’s renowned metalworking product lines and workplace safety seminar program. This consolidation positions us at the forefront of worker safety solutions for the metalworking and welding industries.

Walter and ArcOne have always had a strong focus on the health and safety of our customers, and our employees as well. Over the past few months, our combined teams have been doing their part and working to integrate the two companies into one, all while maintaining a safe environment for employees during this pandemic.

Some ArcOne employees have been working from home, while a skeleton crew works safely in the Taunton office, fulfilling their day to day responsibilities as well as fulfilling orders to meet our customer’s needs. We are serving our customers to the best of our ability during this crisis. This virus may linger on for some time, and we are working to prepare for this as a company.

Distributors can now order ArcOne products through Walter as a single vendor.

Having the capacity for ArcOne products to be available from Walter, along with Walters many other metal working products, makes it possible for customers to place orders from anywhere in our network. ArcOne now has eight warehouses to ship products from, previously we just had one. There are now thirteen customer service representatives across the country that can accept ArcOne orders. Previously, there were only three. This is a large force of growth and a win for our company.

As we look to the future, we hope that customers will think of Walter and ArcOne as a one-stop shop for your metalworking needs as well as personal protection equipment. We want our customers to work effectively as well as safely, using the necessary safety gear to power through. We hope to be there for our customers, improve our products and our operational practices so that when the world opens again, we will be ready.
